This is happening in other states as well. What is your idea for dealing with this?”
“We want no CCP land purchases, and obviously, they are not going to do it directly,” DeSantis explained, as reported by Breitbart. “They will have shell companies, so we’re going to have to have a system in place to scrutinize this. But why would we want them buying farmland? They had very little farmland in the United States, even 10 years ago.”
“Now they have significant holdings, not as much in Florida, but you do have it in other parts of the country,” the Florida governor said. “Why would we want the CCP to own land near a military base or own critical infrastructure?”
“So we’re looking for a flat ban, and so we’re going to work with the Florida Legislature to get that done,”

But is it all just a Big Lie?
In July 2022, a Chinese biological research company, JOINN Laboratories, bought 1,400 acres of rural farmland in Morriston, Florida, primarily for a non-human primate (monkey) breeding and quarantine facility.
Current law prohibits the construction of such a facility on that property, but JOINN Laboratories is filing a re-zoning request with the State of Florida.
What is not widely known is JOINN Laboratories’ close connections to China’s People’s Liberation Army and what is arguably its biowarfare program.
The Founder of JOINN and Chair of the Board of Directors is Yuxia Feng, a military physician and graduate of the Academy of Military Medical Sciences in Beijing.

The Local County Response
Levy County Commissioner John Meeks on Tuesday said a state law prohibiting foreign countries hostile to the United States from buying land in Florida is slated for consideration in the spring session of the Florida Legislature, but on a related subject, he said it is also his understanding state agencies won’t be issuing any permits for importation of primates to the monkey lab property in Gulf Hammock.
“According to State Rep. Chuck Clemons and State Sen. Keith Perry, they do intend to do something to make sure state agencies don’t provide any type of permits or any sort of allowances, to allow those type of entities to operate,” Meeks said. “In essence, they won’t be getting a permit from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) to bring in any monkeys. We can prevent them through our zoning from building a lab but we (the county) can’t technically prevent them from bringing in monkeys.”

So, in 2021 DeSantis understood the threat the Chinese Communist Party represented to Florida.
In 2022, DeSantis allowed the Communist Chinese to purchase 1,400 acres of farmland in Morriston, Florida to be used to build a massive BioResearch Lab. DeSantis has been quiet elusive on this FACT.
Now, in 2023, DeSantis promises once again.
Do you see the pattern? China is allowed in the backdoor while DeSantis runs a smokescreen out front.
